Reading through our Google reviews the other day reminded me of the wonderful feedback we’ve received from wedding couples. It’s amazing to see how Blue Wings Events has continued to grow, even after two years of navigating a pandemic. Taking a moment to reflect on these reviews was a great reminder of why we do what we do.

I found some great things in common and thought I would share them with you, but don’t take my word for it, read through all our 40+ five star reviews.

#1. Some reviews are long, but they have a story to tell to give you a really good point of view, so make sure you read those long ones as you can get some great tips from them.

#2. Are you skeptical about hiring a wedding planner? It’s a common feeling, but have you considered the benefits? Many couples hire a DJ or catering company without hesitation, yet they feel they can handle planning themselves. However, it’s important to listen to the wisdom of those who have been through it before. Don’t wait until after the wedding to realize you needed a planner. Trust us, you won’t see a review saying “I wish I hired a planner.”

#3. Seems to be a theme that hiring a planner is expensive, but then they figure out how much we can save them. Here is an example, I had a couple looking at some venues and I suggested after 15 mins another venue that might work better and about $5,000 less.  They did a venue tour, booked the venue and then hired us immediately as they realized my knowledge would save them thousands of dollars.

#4. Planning a wedding can be a daunting task for couples, especially when they don’t know what they don’t know. While blogs and lists on the internet can provide some guidance, they often fall short when it comes to real-life experiences. That’s where a professional planner comes in, providing invaluable expertise to help couples navigate the complexities of wedding planning. Did you know that it takes an experienced planner about 150 hours to plan a wedding? That’s a significant investment of time and effort that can make all the difference in creating a memorable and stress-free wedding day.

#5. Hiring friends as vendors for your wedding or expecting family to help clean up? Think twice! As much as we love our loved ones, they may choose partying over doing their job. Trust us, we’ve seen it all too often. And if you’re planning to rely on a playlist, be ready for those drunk friends to stray from the plan.

Laura & Bryce – Everett

I was skeptical at first to hire a wedding planner because I didn’t think it was in my budget. As it turns out, it wasn’t in my budget NOT to hire a planner!

Stacy & Earl – Edmonds

Before meeting her I didn’t know half of the stuff that I needed to plan for. She educated me and had everything in an organized fashion and conquered one thing at a time

Nancy & Nolan – Thornewood

I don’t even know where to begin. I was always skeptical about needing a wedding planner. She turned this skeptic into a believer and made our vision come alive.

Katrina & Mat Doiron – Tacoma

No blogs or articles I found included hiring a wedding planner. Funny thing is, I’m positive that we couldn’t have had the beautiful wedding we did, and still come in under the budget we set, without Angela’s help.

Rachel & Brandon – Union Station

I initially hired a friend of a friend to do my day of coordinating. I found myself telling her what to do and then stressing out that I’d have to do the same thing on my wedding day. I didn’t need that stress! I reached out to Angela in a panic 3 months before the wedding, I met with her and was immediately put at ease with her knowledge and experience! Everything I worried over she said, “ Don’t worry! You have me now!”. I booked her that day and never looked back!
