What do you get when you combine a Full Wedding and Elopement Wedding… Micro Wedding!
First what is a Micro Wedding and why are we doing them now? Well, as planners we are hearing of so many summer weddings that are scrambling to change their dates, reduce the number of guests or just cancel all together and it feels like there just is no easy answer to any of it. And now the COVID19 has created a social distancing new-normal that doesn’t really work for the standard wedding of 100+ guests in a tight venue with 10 people at at table. We started to think what CAN we do and let’s figure it out so you won’t be stuck wondering what you do if you want to get married this year? First don’t despair if you or someone you know is having to cancel, be assured there are options.
We love doing weddings each year at the Gorge-ous Weddings Wind Mountain Ranch Venue and we dicided to partner up together and had this idea of a micro wedding in the planning stages starting in January, but decided to put the idea on a fast track and are hoping this concept will help at 4 couples enjoy a really fun wedding at a venue with amazing views, at a fraction of the cost for a typical wedding that can start at $35,000. (continue reading for our package price) And oh we picked a really fun date 10.10.20.
Let’s talk details
So now you ask exactly what is a Micro Wedding? And who is it best for?
Our micro weddings are for couples that want an awesome, intimate wedding but none of the stress. Each package includes all of the necessities to make your wedding day both easy and enjoyable for you and your guests for a fraction of the cost.
A micro wedding will do it all, from legally getting you married, photographing you and your partner, and making a generally kick-ass time of your nuptials at a beautiful venue with the best of the best wedding professionals to execute a luxury elopement style ceremony for both of you and up to 24 of your friends and family.
What venue is this located at?
This venue is in Stevenson, WA at Wind Mountain Ranch called Gorge-ous Weddings and with the Columbia River Gorge on one side and the venue nestled up against the mountains you are guaranteed to have a stunning backdrop to your ceremony plus photos that will make all your friends jealous.
Is it a Mass Wedding?
Nope! Although three other couples will share the same wedding day and site, the ceremonies are hours apart and private to you and your guests.
How does it work?
The micro wedding day has four time slots available. You choose your 90 minute slot, arrive with your guests and enjoy a welcome beverage, beautiful ceremony and a fun photoshoot with a champagne toast, first dance, cake, appetizers and flowers. Afterward, you and your guests depart to enjoy the rest of your wedding day how you choose. Many couples reserve a table at their favorite restaurant, host an intimate dinner at their home or head over to an AirBNB they rented to celebrate into the night.
Is a Micro Wedding for You?
A micro wedding is truly for couples that want an intimate wedding with their closest family and friends, but be able to spread out and not worry about social-distancing. You also want a beautiful luxury ceremony, but do not want to plan all of the details yourself.
The biggest benefit of a micro wedding is that you are sharing the investment of the luxury décor, beautiful venue and the talents of the amazing wedding professionals with other couples.
What is the investment?
● $5,800 Yep, that’s correct!!
