Our team brings more than 30 years of combined event experience, supporting corporate clients, associations, nonprofits, and private events across a wide range of formats and sizes. We take a team-based, collaborative approach, working in close partnership with internal staff and volunteers at every stage of the planning process. Our role is to lead strategically and professionally—managing details, logistics, and timelines—so our clients can stay focused on their mission, stakeholders, and guests. From initial planning to onsite execution, we are committed to ensuring every detail is thoughtfully managed and that each event delivers a seamless experience and exceptional guest and donor engagement.

Angela Strecker
Founder & Owner | Event Strategist, Speaker & Networking Trainer
Angela Strecker is the Founder and Owner of Blue Wings Events and brings over 30 years of event management experience to every project. Known for her authenticity, honesty, and steady leadership, Angela combines deep industry knowledge with strong problem-solving skills, emotional intelligence, and consistent service for her clients.
In addition to producing high-impact events, Angela is a speaker and networking trainer, helping professionals and organizations build meaningful connections, communicate with confidence, and navigate events with purpose. Her ability to “read the room” has made her a trusted advisor and an exceptional profiler of both clients and guests—allowing her to design experiences that truly resonate.
Raised in a military family, Angela lived throughout the United States before ultimately calling Washington State home, where most of her family now resides. While her mornings start slowly (often not fully underway until after 10 a.m.), once in motion, she brings focus, clarity, and momentum to everything she touches.
For Angela, Blue Wings Events is not a hobby or side project—it is a full-time career, long-term commitment, and lifelong dream built on relationships, trust, and excellence.

Stacy Asher
Lead Event Planner | Wedding Planner
Stacy Asher is our lead Chaos Manager, bringing exceptional organization, multitasking skills, and calm energy to even the most complex events. As a mother of two, balancing moving parts comes naturally and a strong cup of coffee keeps her fueled throughout the day.
With a background in customer service management, photography, and the cosmetic and beauty industry, Stacy has a keen eye for detail and a talent for sourcing the right vendors to meet a wide range of client needs. Her ability to anticipate challenges and keep logistics running smoothly makes her an invaluable part of the planning process.
Born and raised in the South Sound, Stacy combines local knowledge with a genuine passion for creating seamless, well-executed events, powered, of course, by coffee.
Carlie Strecker
Event Planner
Carlie brings a detail-driven approach and a strong catering sales and planning background to the Blue Wings Events team. As Blue Wings Events’ resident foodie, Carlie specializes in thoughtful vegetarian and vegan experiences, ensuring menus are both inclusive and memorable. Highly organized and proactive, she thrives behind the scenes, anticipating needs, managing vendors, and keeping events running seamlessly.
Carlie is passionate about creating polished, stress-free events where every detail is intentional and every guest feels considered.
In her free time, Carlie loves hosting family and friends with good food and games. She is also a yoga enthusiast, avid crocheter and most recently, gardening fanatic.
Michele Lewis
Senior Day-Of Coordinator
Michele prides herself in making sure events run smoothly and is quick to make adjustments. She has years of experience assisting at weddings and managing youth sports teams.
Michele and her husband live out on the Kitsap Peninsula in the home she grew up in and has lived in Washington State her entire life. If you want a wedding in Maui, Michele is your gal, she loves that island and has vacationed there many times, but really she just loves the sun and heat.
Lynn Bohart
Staff Copywriter
Lynn views the world through a storytelling lens. She is an accomplished and published writer and teaches writing through Green River College. She works with our clients on targeted and imaginative messaging, copywriting and even customized murder mysteries for all types of events. Together, they have hosted many events at their own home in the Puyallup area and understand the compassion needed to ease the stress and allow you to focus on sharing time with your loved ones.
Becca Hansen
Assistant Day-of Coordinator (Western Washington)
Becca is one of our Day-Of Coordinators for our Western Washington clients. She has experience in catering, but really her skills as a school teacher make her perfect for managing people and details on the day of an event. In her spare time, she loves to hike and travel and hang out with her 4 fur babies.
